There is an excellent opportunity for a Railway Track Maintenance Engineer to maintain the track and structures to ensure safe operation of the railway, as well as maintaining relevant records regarding track condition and safety for the infrastructure department.

As Diesel Traction Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the diesel traction department, ensuring that all units are fit for purpose and adequately maintained, and the fleet availability is sufficient to cater for the business needs.

Reporting to the Head of Traction and Rolling Stock Engineering, you will also plan requirements for the operating year, ensuring planned maintenance activities are completed and defects are acted upon and recorded.
