Job Requirements/Description

What you’ll be doing:

  • Support and review Outfit, including but not limited to; Technical Specifications, Keyplans, Drawings, Design Reviews, Change Requests, Change Impact Assessment
  • Develop designs in line with all specifications & standards
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure delivery to the agreed specification
  • Line management of the outfit engineering team
  • Manage product safety hazards within area of responsibility
  • Co-ordinate with systems engineers, detail designers and operations on the integration of outfit systems

Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Experience and knowledge of Marine Outfit systems with the experience to support system and spatial integration activities with other disciplines
  • Stage 1 design experience
  • Experience working in Naval or Aerospace engineering, within a highly regulated industry

Desirable:

  • Experience writing and reviewing technical reports and specifications
  • Experience in creating and reviewing vessel Keyplans
  • Previous Line Management/People Management experience
