Design/Technical Coordinator - Residential

Our client is a well-established, multi award winning residential main contractor with an excellent reputation within the new build residential market. They are frequent nominees of the top 20 construction companies to work for within the UK and have an excellent staff retention rate.

An exciting opportunity for a Design/Technical Coordinator to join our clients project team based in West Byfleet has arisen. This opportunity is start on a freelance basis with scope to go permanent for the right person. The scheme is a new build of 200 residential apartments (RC Frame).

Day to Day responsibilities include:

• Ensure that working drawings are in accordance with the approved planning scheme
• Reviewing stage 5 construction drawings
• Attending Technical project meetings
• Reviewing and responding to RFIs.

• Reporting progress to the Technical Manager daily/weekly/ fortnightly.

• Organising any samples required from the internal packages for approval

This role would suit someone that is available on either a weeks notice or immediately. You MUST have previous experience working on Residential projects with either a Developer or a Main Contractor. You will have experience of working with internal packages.
