Our client is a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company with a product used by millions of people globally. They're looking for 3 x Senior/Engineering Managers to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building scalable systems, providing technical leadership, and mentoring other engineers.
As an Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in leading and managing a team of talented engineers to drive growth engineering, product development, and R&D initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the success of an innovative SaaS platform.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other stakeholders, to define and execute engineering strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive the growth engineering efforts, optimizing the scalability, performance, and reliability of our SaaS platform to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging R&D initiatives and promoting the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with architects and technical leads to design and implement robust and scalable software architectures.
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, React.js, Go, Ruby, AWS, K8s, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and other relevant technologies.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the engineering team and across departments, promoting transparency and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role, ideally in a SaaS environment.
- Strong technical background with expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, React.js, Go, AWS, K8s, Elasticsearch, Kafka, and other related technologies.
- Solid understanding of full-stack development principles and experience with modern software development methodologies and tools.
- Demonstrated experience in driving growth engineering initiatives, optimizing performance, and scalability of SaaS platforms.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
