Technical Solution Architect - FinTech - London HQ / Remote First

?? Technical Architecture team (SaaS/Java/Kafka/AWS Platform) – FinTech / Global Payments – London HQ / Remote First??

Salary - £90,000 / £100,000 + Bonus

Location - London HQ (Fully remote with at least one on-site visit a month)

As the Technical Solutions Architect, you will be shaping the future of this business and you will play a strategic role in building out inhouse capability. As a member of the architecture team, you will work closely with products and clients to understand the requirements to translate them in solution designs, defining solution architecture, architecture roadmaps and day-to-day technical support to the engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

• Experience designing technical solutions that can be easily translated to code utilising Java tech stack
• Design the architecture of a group of capabilities that optimise the cost base and non-functional performance of the SaaS platform

Technical experience:

• Good knowledge of technical architecture design across cloud based, microservice based architecture, event streaming technologies and secure financial systems
• Strong technical knowledge of AWS, Java and Kafka
• Front-end experience (ideally React/NextJS but other technologies considered)
