Technical Advisor

A multidisciplinary engineering consultancy are looking to expand their team with a Technical Advisor based in Glasgow.

With projects ranging from infrastructure to the environment there is always an interesting challenge to work on.

This company is looking for a Technician who can provide technical expertise when issues arise and has knowledge and experience with electrical and street lighting and knowledge of the legislation associated with it.

Key Duties:

• To work alongside, but under the direction of the Lead Technical Advisor (Electrical) to provide advice on the technical and operational issues which may arise as a result of the Employer s contracts with Suppliers involving electrical and street lighting works and services.
• Experience of technical specifications and technical standards and legislation associated with electrical and street lighting works and services.
• Demonstrable knowledge of technical specifications and technical standards and legislation associated with electrical and street lighting works and services.
• Demonstrable moderate experience of contract development.
• To support the Lead Technical Advisor (Electrical) in order to review, analyse and advise on technical specifications and technical standards associated with the Employer s contracts with Suppliers involving electrical and street lighting works and services.

With this role comes a salary of £30-35,000, 26 days holiday with additional days added for length of service and career progression within a top company.
