This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the commercial department as the business grows working closely with the Senior Estimator and commercial team.

About your new role:

Due to continued growth plans our client is seeking a Groundworks & Civil Engineering Estimator to support the commercial department in producing tenders for residential & commercial groundworks services throughout the Kent & Essex region.

Key Responsibilities for the Groundworks Estimator:

• Preparation of tender quotations for foundations, roads and sewers s278 works, drainage and structures.
• Take offs and bill of quantity production
• Producing final tender document for submission to clients

Requirements for the Groundworks Estimator:

• A minimum of 3-4years experience as an Estimator for a Groundworks & Civil Engineering contractor.
• Proficient computer skills particularly in Microsoft Excel
• Possess good skills with numbers and strong mathematical ability
• Ability to gather and analyze information skillfully
• Good negotiation and management skills
• Extremely high level of confidentiality and discretion
• Understand the importance of establishing and maintaining positive client relationships.
• Team Player
• Good attention for detail
