A leading corporate banking and capital markets organisation is seeking an Engineering and Hard Services Manager to join their team in London.
Main Purpose of the Role
:Responsible for the operational management of hard facilities management services to the London Branch. Responsibilities include mechanical, electrical and public health maintenance, critical engineering services (including data centres), facilities projects, energy management, and facilities helpdesk
.

- esTo develop and manage the long-term strategies for engineering maintenance and infrastructural modernisation, continually focusing on resilience, risk management, efficiency, performance and cost contro
- l.To deliver the operation of all hard services managed service contracts and specialist suppliers to ensure the operation of the bank’s built environment and critical engineering systems. Monitor contractual KPI
- s.Ensure the bank meets current and future legislation and statutory requirements on all building management systems i.e. carbon reductio
- n.Direct, evaluate and approve the M&E designs provided by consultants and architects to ensure they meet the requirement of the ban
- k.Conduct regular meetings with Managed Service Providers and Data Centres stakeholder
- s.Maintain security concept documentation, contractor and tenant handbooks, utility metering reporting, CSR reporting and other adhoc reporting as require
- d.To attend and manage any critical or major infrastructure failures, power downs, witness testing or supervising business critical shutdowns as required and act in the capacity of an Emergency Officer in line with the company’s Business Continuity Planning guidelines and policie
