Senior Technical Consultant

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing independent sustainability consultancy who consist of a team of building energy consultants who provide their expertise to clients across the UK. They are on the lookout for a Senior Technical Consultant to hit the ground running by leading their energy team who are based in Bristol.
Role responsibilities for a Senior Technical Consultant:
- Lead a team of sustainability and energy consultants on numerous projects within the construction industry
- Produce SAP assessments and calculations to ensure clients projects are in compliance with Part L
- Undertake thermal bridging and U value heat loss calculations
- Mentor and help the more junior staff members professionally develop
- Carry out energy assessments for existing dwellings and provide sustainable solutions to clients on their construction projects to minimise their environmental impact
The ideal Senior Technical Consultant will have:
- An OCDEA qualification with demonstratable experience delivering Part L Sap assessments
- Strong knowledge of UK planning and building regulations in compliance with Part L
- Previous experience in a client facing role and mentoring a team of consultants within the construction industry
- Relevant experience within a consultancy role delivering sustainability reports within the built environment
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
