Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join a leading team in preparing IT platforms for some of the world’s most prestigious live events, including the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics and Paralympics. This role offers an initial contract with the strong potential to transition into a permanent position, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to globally significant projects at the cutting edge of event technology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Project Leadership: Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of projects focused on delivering state-of-the-art IT platforms for major live events. Ensure that projects are executed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with global teams, including technical leads and key stakeholders, to align project objectives and ensure smooth execution. Maintain regular communication to update on project progress, risks, and key milestones.

- Technical Oversight: Supervise the development and deployment of cutting-edge IT solutions, ensuring they meet the stringent requirements for international events in terms of scalability, security, and performance.

- Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks to project timelines and deliverables. Develop and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted project advancement.

- Team Collaboration: Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, IT engineers, and operations staff, to coordinate efforts and guarantee that all technical requirements are met.

- Event Readiness: Ensure all IT platforms are rigorously tested and fully prepared for live deployment at key events. This includes managing the rollout of new features and ensuring the stability and reliability of systems under live conditions.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience in technical project management, ideally within the live events or sports sectors.

- Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, software development processes, and event technology.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across global teams.

- Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Ability to thrive under pressure, delivering high-quality results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with Agile and Lean project management methodologies.
