Technical Manager

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist manufacturing company who are looking for a Technical Manager.

The company design and develop engineered products for a wide variety of blue-chip companies in the automotive industry.

This role will be to manage and lead a team, developing and improving processes to enhance delivering of technical design and R&D projects.

The Technical Manager will be responsible for:

• Leading a team of multi-skilled engineers and technicians
• Providing support and career development of a performing team
• Defining workload and developing engineering plans to ensure delivery
• Managing prototype development and products through to full production
• Proving technical advice to the team
• Ensuring design and development projects are delivered

The Technical Manager will need:

• Experience of managing design teams in a manufacturing environment
• Experience of managing projects and improving processes
• A mechanical engineering background
• Excellent people skills and management ability
• A willingness to support the team and achieve business goals

This is a great opportunity to take on the leadership of a great team of around 10 people, provide input to their development and lead on the design and development of products.
