We work with leading clients and vendors across investment and wealth management landscape. You will have the opportunity to drive the test strategy and implementation on both traditional and agile implementations for top tier clients. Working with a range of clients will also provide you with the opportunity to continue developing your senior relationships with industry leaders, and grow your leadership skills. You will also play an important role in leading practice development activities such as:
developing new service offerings to take to market and leading on thought leadership;
contributing to the management of our business.Responsibilities will include:
Collaborate with our investment & wealth management leadership teams, proposition owners and Q&TE leads to develop and implement ‘Go to market’ propositions to attract new clientsCreation of tailored test strategies and approaches for large, complex or specialised client test deliveryPlanning and managing client test delivery, ensuring the testing meets quality, time and cost objectivesProviding advice on testing tools and leveraging them effectively within a testing activityReviewing test processes and practices and coaching the team on enhancement opportunitiesManaging diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contributionSupporting the management of key client stakeholders' relationships and leading teams of Deloitte and client personnelTaking responsibility for budgets (or portions of budgets), client deliverables and billingLeading the creation of discussion decks and proposals, and participating in client orals during the client bid processAct as a role mode, helping to develop and mentor junior resourcesContribute to Deloitte’s thought leadership in Q&TEConnect to your skills and professional experience To qualify for the role, Senior Managers must have:
Deep investment or wealth management industry expertise gained in complex client-facing environments, ideally with exposure to the CRD or FNZ technology suitesExperience in defining test strategies for large and complex IT change programmes within the investment & wealth management industry Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to bridge both technical and business stakeholdersExperience of building and strengthening key client relationshipsExperience of functional system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing and non-functional testing including performance and automationISTQB Foundation Level certificate (or equivalent)Test management tool expertise (such as JIRA/HP ALM/X-Ray)Excellent interpersonal skills and self-driverStrong leadership and management skillsAcute attention to detailComfortable working in a fast-paced and often changeable client environmentStrong commercial awareness of how change/transformation programmes operatesAdditional desirable experience includes:
A proven track record in a top tier consultancyExposure to additional Investment Management & Wealth industry platforms such as, BlackRock Aladdin, Avaloq, SS&C and SonataExposure to test automation toolsAbility to design and implement test automation frameworksISTQB Certified Agile Tester qualification (or equivalent)Experience in administering a test management tool (e.G.
