Data Engineering Lead

Databricks, Spark, Python, SQL, Agile,

A leading Product company and heavy user of Databricks have need of an excellent Data Engineering Team Leader to take on a team of 6 Data Engineers working end-to-end with Databricks technologies.

You should come with excellent Databricks technical skills and experience, ideally be certified, as well as having proven experience of Team and Technical Leadership of similar sized teams and to Agile.

Key skills and experience includes;

• Team and Technical Leadership of a team of Data Engineers
• Strong technical skills with Databricks including developing notebooks and workflows
• Programming skills with PySpark, Spark, Python, SQL, R etc
• Strong experience of running Agile, Scrum, CI/CD, TDD, BDD, Programme Pairing etc
• Iac / Terraform or similar
• Cloud Platforms experience on AWS or Azure

This role can be fully remote within the UK and will be paid at circa £80,000 - £90,000 + benefits including an excellent bonus that pays out between 10% - 20%.
