Software Engineering Team Lead required to join an expansive engineering department within a well-established company with offices in the Southeast and London. The Technical Lead will implement technical architecture and Agile methodologies within a small team of Software Engineers. You'll also work closely with Engineering Managers and Solution Architects to implement development strategies and will be involved in project planning.

Within this position you'll support the development and deployment of a range of EPOS and Retail systems by being the technical guide for the team, consulting on design and architecture decisions and resolving any bottle-necks in deployment. This role will still offer hands-on development Leadership position but will be supplemented by experience in leading a development team.

Key experience

• Prior experience engineering EPOS, E-commerce or Retail software solutions
• Service Oriented Architecture and/or Microservice architecture
• Technical background in Agile software development & leadership
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders

You’ll be working with the following languages and frameworks;

• Java Spring
• Node.js
• Gitlab or similar
• CI/CD tools
• Fullstack experience with React.js is beneficial but not essential
