Our client is a high-growth deep-tech UK venture developing and delivering advanced B2B SaaS solutions for Industry 4.0, with a particular focus on AI driven processes for advanced autonomous manufacturing.

The company already partners some of the major Tier 1 players in its target market internationally, and is continuing on its exciting growth trajectory.

As part of this success, we are seeking an experienced Head of Software Engineering to lead and grow a multi-disciplined team of developers and technologists, overseeing all stages of the software development life-cycle, from the concept stage through to industry adoption.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will possess the following:

• Proven experience (10+ years) in software engineering leadership roles, with a track record of successfully leading and growing high-performance engineering organisations in tech start-ups or scale-up environments.
• Strong technical experience across a broad range of software engineering challenges, with the ability to engage in deep technical problem solving with engineers of all levels.
• A proven track record in developing and delivering B2B SaaS based products, from concept through to commercial deployment.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, Data Privacy, AI and IP.
• Sound problem-solving abilities, with an ability to think on “one’s feet” in a complex technical environment.
• Passion for innovation, technology, and driving positive change in the industry.
• A track record in prioritising tasks and resources effectively.
• Be able to operate with high integrity and professionalism.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and manage effective internal and external relationships.
