Technical Application Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Technical Application Support Engineer to join our client s team in Manchester. You will leverage your SAP expertise to develop solutions, integrate new technologies, and act as a key resource for junior team members. You will play a vital role in enhancing our clients' systems, helping them navigate technical challenges, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stay ahead of industry trends by embracing and adopting new technologies that meet client and company needs.
• Use modern source control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps for efficient project management.
• Develop add-ons and integrations using SAP and various third-party technologies.
• Generate custom reports with tools such as Crystal Reports, Boyum dashboards, and more.
• Act as an escalation point for junior application support, offering guidance and resolving complex technical issues.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in a SAP environment, with hands-on expertise.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and leadership skills to support junior staff.
• Solid technical knowledge in software programming, with proficiency in multiple modern programming languages.
• Strong working knowledge of Boyum or Codeless platforms.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new SAP technologies and related tools.
