Technical Writer - Networks and Collaboration / Video Conferencing Technology
Location: United Kingdom, with up to 20% travel to Belgium and possibly other countries.
Job Overview: aap3 are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer with expertise in networks and collaboration/video conferencing technology.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating high-quality, high-value documentation for corporate consulting clients. This role requires the ability to design and develop templates and deliver comprehensive documentation that meets the strategic needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for aap3's networking and collaboration/video conferencing products and solutions.
- Create templates that streamline the documentation process and ensure consistency across all materials.
- Work closely with technical teams to gather the necessary information to produce accurate and detailed documents.
- Deliver high-quality documentation that meets the needs of corporate consulting clients, ensuring clarity, conciseness, and technical accuracy.
- Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and quality standards.
- Travel to client sites in Belgium and other countries as needed to gather information and provide on-site documentation support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Technical Writer in the technology industry, with a focus on networks and collaboration/video conferencing technology.
- Strong experience in creating templates and delivering high-quality documentation to corporate clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in documentation tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- Security clearance would be ideal but not essential
