My client is one of the biggest tech companies in the world. They are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technical programs and projects across multiple geographies and with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and collaborate with stakeholders to strategize, plan, and prioritize objectives. Ensure schedules and dependencies are aligned.
- Define, organize, and manage project activities. Adjust key levers (e.g., schedule, staffing) to deliver results on time.
- Monitor and communicate progress, risks, and mitigations. Align stakeholders on decisions and changes.
- Measure and publish program metrics. Implement process improvements.
- Apply relevant best practices from other processes and technologies.
- Identify and implement programs to address problem spaces. Organize projects into clear objectives.
- Forge and maintain effective program teams. Guide team alignment on timelines and deliverables.
- Manage escalations and unblock constraints.
- Possess advanced planning and project management skills. Leverage the best methodology for each team. Demonstrate advanced communication skills and relevant domain knowledge.
- Design and deliver optimized communication plans. Represent the program team across various touchpoints.
- Determine metrics for continuous improvement. Optimize checkpoints and dashboards.
- Collect data for program governance. Maintain project trackers and status reports. Define program governance structures and lead stakeholder meetings.
Requirements:
- Experience managing technical programs with cross-functional and outsourced teams.
- Experience managing programs for buildings in multiple locations.
- Experience in procurement and vendor negotiation.
- Background in smart buildings, control systems, IoT, cybersecurity, or energy management.
