Location: London (Hybrid)

Length: 6 Months (possible extension)

Rate: £51.90 p/h PAYE (Approx. £107K per annum)


My client is one of the biggest tech companies in the world. They are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technical programs and projects across multiple geographies and with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and collaborate with stakeholders to strategize, plan, and prioritize objectives. Ensure schedules and dependencies are aligned.
  • Define, organize, and manage project activities. Adjust key levers (e.g., schedule, staffing) to deliver results on time.
  • Monitor and communicate progress, risks, and mitigations. Align stakeholders on decisions and changes.
  • Measure and publish program metrics. Implement process improvements.
  • Apply relevant best practices from other processes and technologies.
  • Identify and implement programs to address problem spaces. Organize projects into clear objectives.
  • Forge and maintain effective program teams. Guide team alignment on timelines and deliverables.
  • Manage escalations and unblock constraints.
  • Possess advanced planning and project management skills. Leverage the best methodology for each team. Demonstrate advanced communication skills and relevant domain knowledge.
  • Design and deliver optimized communication plans. Represent the program team across various touchpoints.
  • Determine metrics for continuous improvement. Optimize checkpoints and dashboards.
  • Collect data for program governance. Maintain project trackers and status reports. Define program governance structures and lead stakeholder meetings.


Requirements:


  • Experience managing technical programs with cross-functional and outsourced teams.
  • Experience managing programs for buildings in multiple locations.
  • Experience in procurement and vendor negotiation.
  • Background in smart buildings, control systems, IoT, cybersecurity, or energy management.
