Graduate Technical Planner / Design Engineer

Graduate Technical Planner / Design Engineer required for a manufacturer based in Hythe, Kent. The successful candidate will be working in a small technical team planning manufacturing processes and creating drawings using Solidworks.

Graduate Technical Planner / Design Engineer Position Overview

• Drawing control
• Best route of manufacture and bill of materials
• Ensuring all new work is planned, and machine programs are processed in a timely manner to ensure that the customer lead times are achievable.
• Creating drawings using Solidworks

Graduate Technical Planner / Design Engineer Position Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Industry experience is beneficial

Graduate Technical Planner / Design Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary dependent on experience likely starting at 27k- 28k for a graduate and up to 33k for someone experienced.
• 39 hour week (Monday-Thursday 08:00-17:00 with a half hour lunch break, Fridays 08:00-13:00)
• Overtime available paid at an enhance rate
• Death in service benefits after 12 months
• Company contributory pension scheme.
