OVERVIEW
- Role: Technical Designer
- Location 5 days onsite in London
- Salary £55-58k
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the creative/design team to understand and interpret the conceptual vision of each project
- Develop detailed technical drawings, CAD models and fabrication plans that translate creative designs
- Collaborate with production and events team to ensure technical designs are executed accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with external vendors, fabricators and suppliers to communicate technical requirements and ensure accurate execution of designs
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years proven experience in technical design with a focus in the events, exhibitions, or architectural sectors
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Rhino)
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication techniques and construction methods
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A degree in Technical Design, Architecture, Engineering or related field is preferred but not essential
- Ability to commute to London office daily
