Technical Manager/SAP

Ethan James Group are working on behalf of a large well respected Facilities Management Contractor to recruit an experienced Technical Manager and SAP (Senior Authorised Person) on a large corporate critrical site in Corsham, Wiltshire.

As the Technical Manager/SAP the role will be providing Technical leadership, management, and development of a defined contract, ensuring technical commitments are met and exceeded. Ensuring Risk Mitigation measures are in place for the assets under contract.

Additional duties of the Technical Manager/SAP are as follows;

• Support Account Management teams and other stakeholders in the delivery of all services within the scope of the role, and provide shoulder to shoulder technical service input as required to enhance the credibility of the company
• Responsible for overseeing technical matters relating to the effective Plant and Equipment Maintenance on the sites
• Liaison with Building Manager and Client to ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with site policies and procedures and within health and safety legislative requirements. Undertake Authorised Engineer / AP duties, on site, are available for support out of office hrs.
• The Technical Manager will act as the Focal Point for all Technical matters and will provide portfolio wide technical support with site specific works, training or such other times deemed necessary.
• The position will be the point of contact for checking technical project progress on time and in budget, for Technical Issues liaising and supporting the Technical Director

The ideal Technical Manager/SAP will need to be

• Tehcnicall qualified to minimum HNC in electrical or mechanical
• Current Senior Authorised Person/SAP essential
• Experience within a Critical corporate or Data Centre environment
