This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Technical Author with experience in the Software industry, to join one of the world’s leading gaming companies in a role offering excellent progression and development opportunities.

This company are a household name, instantly and globally recognised within the gaming community. Due to increasing demand and fast growth, they are looking for a Technical Author to join their Documentation team.

In this role you will collaborate with developers to produce all-encompassing documentation for new features. You will update and improve existing documentation, identify and consolidate common content across various documents and create and edit graphics to enrich documentation.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role authoring for global audiences, preferably in the Software industry. You will have experience with GitHub, DITA, HTML, CSS and responsiveness in Agile situations. Any experience with API documentation and MS Visio is desirable.

The Role:

*Collaborate with developers to produce all-encompassing documentation for new features

*Identify and consolidate common content across various documents

*Hybrid working in Bristol, 2 days a week onsite (more site based for probationary period)

The Person:

*Proven experience in a similar role authoring for global audiences, preferably in the Software industry

*Experience with GitHub, DITA, HTML, CSS and responsiveness in Agile situations

*Any experience with API documentation and MS Visio is desirable

*Must be commutable to Bristol or willing and able to relocate
