Location: Essex, site based in Colchester 3 days a week, office based 1-2 days locally / from home

Salary: Up to 50k + car allowance + bonus + package benefits

A growing developer based in Essex are currently looking for a Technical Coordinator to join their team. The successful candidate is most likely to come from an architects practice or residential developer and have previous experience in coordinating and managing the design process for residential projects.

In this role as a Technical Coordinator you will primarily be working on a new build low rise residential project just outside Colchester. The scheme is a high end development of 2-5 bedroom homes with the first phase starting in Feb 2025, design has already begun and the project is expected to last 3 years. Following this period there are other projects in the Essex region this developer would be looking for someone to run.

Ideally they are looking for someone with an Architectural background who can manage the design process on this project.

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Technical Coordinator, Architect or Architectural Technologist
• A good understanding of architectural and engineering design principles
• Experience overseeing all technical, planning, design and engineering elements of new build housing projects prior to site acquisition and site commencement
• Liaising and interface with external engineering and design consultants, dealing with local authorities and ensure that planning submissions are accurate
• Management of external consultants and ensuring a good flow of technical information between head office and site
• Experience in redevelopment projects would be a distinct benefit
• Ideally you will be degree qualified in either and Architectural or Engineering related subject
• Willing to travel with sites based across the UK
