Job Title: Site Technical Manager - FMCG

As we continue to expand and strive for excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Technical Manager to join our team.

Position Overview:

As the Site Technical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and compliance across our manufacturing facility in South East England. You will lead a dedicated team of technical professionals, driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of technical operations at the manufacturing site, including quality control, food safety, regulatory compliance, and hygiene standards.
  • Develop and implement robust quality management systems to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and development.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain, and R&D, to drive innovation and product excellence.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality and safety protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, customers, and external auditors, maintaining strong relationships and representing the company’s interests.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analysis


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science.
  • Extensive experience in a technical or quality leadership role within the FMCG industry, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, food safety standards (HACCP, BRC, etc.), and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving performance improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Competitive salary range: £80,000 + £6700 Car Allowance (£95,000 package)
