What you will be doing:



The Technical Sales Engineer will play a key role in driving sales by combining deep technical knowledge with exceptional customer interaction. You will work closely with our sales and engineering teams to deliver effective solutions tailored to customer needs.


This will play a critical role in driving the growth of Insphere by identifying new business opportunities, building a robust sales pipeline and closing deals. You will be responsible for conducting market research, generating and qualifying leads, and working closely with the leadership team to win new clients across different sectors/territories.




Market Research:




  • Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging trends, global market opportunities, and potential customers within the high-tech manufacturing sector.
  • Analyse competitors, industry developments, and customer needs to support strategic decision-making.
  • Build and maintain a database of target companies, key decision-makers, and industry contacts.




Lead Generation and Qualification:




  • Proactively identify and generate new business leads through various channels,
  • Perform initial qualification of leads to assess their fit with our product offerings and business goals.
  • Schedule meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and pain points.




Pre-Sales Support:



  • Conduct technical presentations, product demos, and proof-of-concept activities to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their challenges and propose tailored solutions.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotations, and technical documents.




Negotiation and Closing Deals:



  • Balance technical feasibility with commercial considerations, negotiating terms that maximise profitability while providing value to the customer.
  • Confidently manage complex sales lifecycles and close deals.




Reporting:



  • Provide regular reports on prospects, pipeline status, and market insights to the leadership team.
  • Participate in regular sales meetings, providing updates on market trends, competitor activities, and potential new business opportunities.



About You:



  • Experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in the robotics, automation, or industrial technology sector.
  • Proven ability to explain complex technical solutions in simple terms to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Target-driven, proactive and strong work ethic.
  • Capable of understanding and conveying complex technical products.
