Civil Engineering Technician

Location: Reading (3 days in the office, 2 from home)

Salary: Up to 40k plus bonus + other benefits

Emtech are working with a UK wide Civil Engineering consultancy who are looking for a Civil Engineering CAD Technician to join their team in Reading.

They are currently working on a range of schemes across residential, retail, warehouses and commercial projects so ideally you will have previous private sector experience.

Technical Experience Required:

• Experience using AutoCAD civil engineering design projects within highways and infrastructure
• Experience draughting roads, junctions, roundabouts in AutoCAD
• Experience with Civil 3D and Microdrainage is highly desired
• Design of external works to commercial developments (service yards, car parks etc)
• Must be able to use AutoCAD independently within a civil engineering environment
• Experience with S278, S38 beneficial
• HNC / HND Qualification within an Engineering related subject
