Mobile Developer (Android Developer / iOS Developer) – flexible working options, with the option to blend working from home with working from our offices in Swansea.

Yokogawa RAP keeps corporate workforces safe in hazardous environments worldwide by delivering the best Control of Work software tools, such as Electronic Permit to Work (ePTW) and Integrated Safe Systems of Work (ISSoW), to the largest multinational oil, gas and chemicals companies in the world.

We have an exciting new opportunity to work as part of our development team of sixteen colleagues, as a Mobile Developer.

The Role – Mobile Developer (Android Developer / iOS Developer)

Reporting to the Development Manager, you’ll work on all stages of our mobile product development lifecycle. You will complement our team and support the development of current and next generation mobile applications written in Flutter / Dart for our specialist iOS and Android software.

You’ll mainly be involved in the development and maintenance of our cross-platform Flutter application as well as possibly maintaining our legacy Android application.

Our Requirements – Mobile Developer (Android Developer / iOS Developer)

You’ll be a self-motivated team player able to work unsupervised to tight deadlines and have excellent communication skills with a good standard of written and spoken English. You will also have the following:

• Experience with native platform app development
• Experience with Flutter state management solutions such as Provider or Bloc
• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services
• Experience gained creating cross-platform apps, and deploying them to app stores
• A thorough understanding of Flutter and Dart
• Good knowledge of Android and iOS native development
• Excellent attention to mobile UI standards

• Permanent contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours available between 7:30am and 6:30pm. Core hours are 10:30am to 3:30pm
