If you have experience installing, servicing, and commissioning either fire and / or security systems, at Jacksons Fire & Security we have a rewarding opportunity to join our growing team in a field-based role supporting clients in Guildford and the surrounding areas.

The Role – Senior Security and Fire Alarm Engineer (Guildford branch)

There’s no such thing as a standard day for our Security and Fire Alarm Engineers. But, while no two days are the same, one thing is for certain – they’re all busy days!

Our Engineers could be out installing fire extinguishers, they might be servicing and commissioning a large commercial fire or intruder alarm system or perhaps a CCTV or access control system, but they are always the face of our business and understand how vital it is to deliver superb customer service.

We are very proud of the work they do as part of our team, which is why we offer excellent training to ensure all our Engineers are competent and are provided with the support they need to thrive.

The Package

• Starting salary in the region of £35,000 to £40,000 with the level dependent on experience, plus attractive uncapped on target earning potential (anticipated to be in excess of £45,000)
• Access to company van, laptop and mobile phone
• 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day for each year of service (capped at 31 days)
• Additional day off for your birthday

• Access to head office facilities that have seen significant investment in recent years and include a bespoke training room boasting 7 complete alarm systems
• Permanent contract, working predominantly Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Our Requirements – Senior Security and Fire Alarm Engineer

• Proven experience installing, servicing, and commissioning either fire and / or security systems (specific system training will be provided where required)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Ability to manage own workload with minimal supervision
• Full and clean UK driving licence

Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS and BS7858 checks
