Technical Administrator - Construction Projects

Do you have a technical aptitude and interest in design and construction (gained either through studies or experience in the construction industry)? We have an exciting opportunity to join our team based at our head office in Bourn, near Cambridge in a role that has been newly created to support the business’ growth plans.

The Role – Technical Administrator - Construction Projects

Reporting to the Senior Technical Advisor and working as part of a small, friendly team, as the Technical Administrator you will be providing technical support internally and externally in line with industry standards in both waterproofing and gas proofing. Full training will be provided, and your duties will include:

  • Assisting with design submissions from the sales team, to ensure correct information is submitted to clients
  • Ensuring all internal documentation is up to date
  • Responding to day-to-day technical enquiries from both internal and external stakeholders
  • Producing eBooks and helping manage submission packs for customers
  • Ensuring all details and technical sign-offs are recorded on the CRM system

The Package

  • Starting salary in the region of £25,000 to £30,000 with the level dependent on experience

Our Requirements – Technical Administrator - Construction Projects

Although welcome, prior experience is not essential as full training will be provided. However, the following attributes are essential:

  • A technical aptitude and interest in design and construction (perhaps gained through studies or experience in in the construction industry)
  • Ability to understand the mathematical, scientific, and engineering techniques required to support design and construction
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised with an ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to liaise with a wide variety of colleagues, and customers
  • High level of attention to detail
