Workshop Engineer – Lifting Equipment (mechanical engineering / pneumatic engineering)

The Role – Workshop Engineer

Reporting to the Warehouse Foreman, you will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing, examination, and testing of all our specialist items of lifting equipment including the pneumatics hoists. You will be predominantly workshop-based, and your duties will include:

• Servicing and testing a large range of varied equipment
• Ensuring all lifting equipment is maintained to the high possible standard and confides with LOLER regulations
• Communicating with the Hire Desk and Sales teams to ensure all customer requirements are fulfilled on time

Our Requirements - Workshop Engineer

• Either be an LEEA (Lifting Equipment Engineers Association) trained Workshop Engineer with a proven background in the lifting industry, or a Mechanical / Pneumatic Fitter with service experience in the engineering sector
• Full driving licence
• Flexibility with working hours
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking
• Flexibility for very occasional UK/European travel

The Package

Based at our workshop in Aberdeen, you will benefit from;

• Permanent contract, working Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4:30pm Friday 8.00am to 3.00pm
• Salary in the region of £26,000 to £31,000, with the level dependent on experience
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, rising with service to a maximum of 30 days plus bank holidays
