Manufacturing Technician – working 38 hours over 4 days per week, with option for you to increase and change hours

The Role - Manufacturing Technician

Assisting the Lead Burning and Large Castings team with day-to-day tasks, you’ll be responsible for recycling all scrap lead, along with ensuring the yard and stock health and safety standards are followed. Your duties will include:

• Moving, managing, de-burring, prepping, and recycling material
• Ensuring the work area, melting pots, equipment and yard is kept clean and safe
• Assisting with the manufacture of components
• Setting standards and implanting a quality and stock-controlled yard
• Liaising with Maintenance regarding improvements or breakdowns
• Emptying and removing swarf from machinery / pots, emptying all swarf bins
• Providing general labour where required

You’ll be based at our busy factory located on Sealand Road, on the outskirts of Chester City Centre, working Monday to Thursday 7am to 4:30pm (although there is the option for you to increase and change hours, whilst considering business need).

Our Requirements – Manufacturing Technician

• Experience gained within heavy industry / engineering environment
• You must have Counterbalance, FLT & Reach licences, and Overhead Crane training
• Team player with good verbal communication skills
• Flexibility towards tasks, working hours and overtime
