Project Controller / Project Coordinator – Hybrid working option to work from home up to 2 days per week combined with working at our offices in Runcorn.

The Role – Project Controller / Project Coordinator

As a Project Controller, you will join our Engineering and Operations team and take responsibility for creating, maintaining, reviewing, and administering project orders for our customers. You will collaborate with a team of Project Managers to support with reporting, financial forecasting, cost breakdown and cashflow. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting Project Managers and Team Leaders to ensure projects are meeting targets and milestones
  • Generating the work breakdown structures for projects, and work package descriptions
  • Collating and analysing cost information in support of project budgeting and cost control
  • Chairing and facilitating project review meetings with the Management team to discuss open projects
  • Monitoring and reporting time writing activities for the Engineering department
  • Processing purchase requisitions
  • Managing the shared material handling inbox
  • Expediting incoming deliveries and preparing packing lists and commercial invoices for logistics
  • Preparing invoicing and invoice calculations, submitting invoices for payment via customer portals

Our Requirements – Project Controller / Project Coordinator

  • Experience supporting project management
  • Experience gained using SAP (preferably a key user)
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent time management skills, and ability to thrive working in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and ability to problem solve
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with good verbal and written communication
  • Passion for learning with desire to continuously improve
