Electrician – Permanent contract, with flexible working options available.

Due to continued growth and demand, at JM Renewable Solutions Ltd we have a super career opportunity for an experienced Electrician to join our highly skilled team, to undertake a highly autonomous role. With demand for renewable energy solutions expected to continue to grow at pace over the years ahead, this provides an exciting and secure future for both our company and valued team members.

You will predominantly be working on 1^st and 2^nd fix installations within the North Wales area, although flexibility will be required to work in areas of North West England as needed.

JM Renewable Solutions specialise in installing renewable energy systems for both domestic and commercial customers. We combine plumbing and electrical contracting under one roof and have many corporate clients including local authorities and builders.

We’ve received several prestigious awards in respect of installations carried out, and by employing the right calibre of people we aim to build on that success. You’ll be joining a growing team of 22 who are more like friends than colleagues. Our offices are located in St Asaph in North Wales, and our skilled team work at customer sites and domestic properties across North Wales and North West England.

Our Requirements – Electrician

Whilst experience within renewable energy installations is not essential as full training will be provided, you will:

• Be an experienced Electrician with experience gained within commercial, domestic, and industrial environments
• Qualified with 18th Edition Wiring Regs (C&G 2382)
• Have a full UK driving licence
• Have own tools (including power tools)
• Willing and able to work alone

Although not essential, the following would be advantageous:

• Inspection & Testing (C&G 2382)
• Knowledge of Solar PV installations and heating systems
• CSCS/ECS card

The Package

• Salary in the region of £28,000 to £31,000 (pay rate equivalent to £14.36 to £15.90 per hour based on 37.5 hours per week), level dependent on experience and qualifications
• Flexible working options. We work an 8-hour day, and you will have flexibility with start and finish times to suit you
• Permanent contract, full time hours working Monday to Friday, although overtime may be available at weekends and where applicable is paid at time and a half on Saturdays and double pay on Sundays
• Company vehicle provided following 6-month probationary period
• Company pension

• 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays
